Lincat OE8205 Opus 800 Electric Machined-Steel Griddle – 600mm, 8kW

The Lincat OE8205 is a heavy-duty 600mm electric griddle from the professional Opus 800 range, combining a versatile smooth machined-steel cooking surface with powerful 8kW electric performance.

Ideally suited to busy restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools, hospitals, care homes and other demanding commercial kitchens, the OE8205 provides a generous cooking area within a compact 600mm-wide footprint.

The smooth machined-steel plate provides a versatile cooking surface suitable for everything from breakfast service – including bacon, eggs and sausages – through to burgers, steaks, chicken, fish, onions, mushrooms and vegetables.

Two separately controlled heat zones provide excellent flexibility during service. Different areas of the griddle can be operated at different temperatures to suit different foods, while during quieter periods only the cooking area required needs to be used.

The OE8205 is designed as a countertop appliance but can also be combined with the OA8917 600mm open floor stand or OA8972 600mm pedestal with doors to create a complete free-standing cooking station. Both options are available separately.

Important Electrical Requirement -

The OE8205 is a powerful 8kW commercial electric griddle and DOES NOT operate from a standard 13A plug.

The appliance requires a dedicated hardwired electrical connection and can be configured for either a 230V single-phase or 400V three-phase supply.

On 230V single phase, the electrical load is approximately 34.8A.

Professional installation by a suitably qualified electrician is required. The available electrical supply should always be checked before ordering.

For kitchens wanting the additional benefits of a premium hard chrome cooking surface, choose the Lincat OE8205/C.

The OE8205/C retains the same compact 600mm format and 8kW electric performance but replaces the standard machined-steel cooking surface with a hard chrome plate. This helps reduce food sticking, makes the cooking surface easier to clean and reduces heat radiation into the kitchen.

A half-ribbed / half-flat machined-steel OE8205/R version is also available. This provides two cooking surfaces in one, combining a smooth griddle area with a ribbed section for adding attractive grill and sear marks to burgers, steaks, chicken and other foods.
