Lincat OG8202/N Opus 800 Natural Gas Griddle – 900mm, 23kW

The Lincat OG8202/N is a large, heavy-duty Natural Gas griddle from the professional Opus 800 range, designed for busy restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools, hospitals and other high-volume commercial kitchens.

With a substantial 900mm width, large 890 x 600mm smooth steel cooking surface and powerful 23kW gas output, the OG8202/N provides plenty of space and performance for demanding griddle cooking. It is ideal for everything from full English breakfasts, bacon, eggs and sausages through to burgers, steaks, chicken, fish and vegetables.

Two independently controlled heat zones provide excellent flexibility during service, allowing different areas of the griddle to operate at different temperatures. During quieter periods, this also gives the option of using only the cooking area required rather than heating the entire plate.

The heavy-duty steel griddle plate provides excellent heat retention and even heat distribution, while thermostatic temperature control helps maintain consistent cooking results throughout busy services. A large fat collection drawer helps make routine cleaning and grease removal straightforward.

The OG8202/N is designed as a countertop appliance but can also be combined with a dedicated Lincat Opus 800 stand or pedestal to create a complete free-standing cooking station. Choose the OA8914 900mm open floor stand or OA8973 900mm pedestal with doors, both available separately.

The Opus 800 900mm griddle is also available with a chrome cooking surface for kitchens wanting the additional benefits of a chrome plate.

The chrome cooking surface helps reduce heat radiation into the kitchen, provides reduced food sticking and makes the cooking surface easier to clean. It can also help reduce flavour transfer between different foods, making the chrome version particularly attractive for high-volume kitchens where the griddle is used extensively throughout service.

The standard smooth steel-top OG8202/N featured on this page remains an excellent choice where a robust, high-performance traditional griddle is required at a lower initial purchase price.
