The Lincat OG8202/C/P is a premium heavy-duty 900mm propane gas griddle from the professional Opus 800 range, featuring a hard chrome cooking surface for excellent cooking performance, easier cleaning and reduced heat radiation into the kitchen.

Designed for demanding restaurants, pubs, hotels, schools, hospitals, care homes and other high-volume commercial kitchens, its generous 890 x 600mm cooking area provides plenty of space for busy service. It is ideal for breakfasts, bacon, eggs and sausages as well as burgers, steaks, chicken, fish and vegetables.

The hard chrome cooking surface offers several advantages over a conventional machined-steel plate. Its smooth finish helps reduce food sticking and makes the surface easier to clean, while reduced heat radiation helps create a more comfortable working environment and reduces unnecessary heat loss into the kitchen.

Two independently controlled heat zones provide excellent flexibility during service, allowing different areas of the plate to operate at different temperatures. During quieter periods, this also allows the operator to use only the cooking area required.

Precise thermostatic temperature control from 90°C to 280°C helps provide consistent results and economical operation, while convenient piezo ignition and pilot burners allow the griddle to be kept ready for service. Flame failure protection provides additional gas safety.

The OG8202/C/P is designed as a countertop appliance but can also be combined with the OA8914 900mm open floor stand or OA8973 900mm pedestal with doors to create a complete free-standing cooking station. Both are available separately.

For kitchens that do not require the additional benefits of the hard chrome cooking surface, the Opus 800 900mm griddle is also available with Lincat's traditional smooth machined-steel plate.

The OG8202/P provides the same substantial 900mm format and powerful 23kW propane gas performance with a conventional machined-steel cooking surface, making it an excellent lower-cost alternative to the chrome model.
