The British-made Lincat OG8402/P Opus 800 Gas Chargrill is a powerful 900mm commercial chargrill designed for busy restaurants, pubs, hotels, steakhouses and other high-output professional kitchens.

Designed specifically for Propane (LPG), the OG8402/P is particularly useful for commercial kitchens where mains Natural Gas isn't available or practical.

With five independently controlled heat zones, powerful infrared burners and heavy-duty reversible cast-iron branding grids, the OG8402/P provides the intense heat and flexibility required for professional chargrilling.

Its substantial 800 x 620mm cooking area provides plenty of capacity during busy service, with Lincat quoting production of up to 118 x 225g chilled steaks per hour.

Five Independently Controlled Heat Zones -

The OG8402/P features five independently controlled heat zones, allowing chefs to maintain different temperatures across the same cooking surface.

Different foods can therefore be cooked simultaneously at temperatures appropriate to each product – for example, cooking chicken only inches away from steaks.

Individual zones can also be turned off during quieter periods, avoiding unnecessary gas consumption when the complete 900mm cooking area isn't required.

Powerful Infrared Gas Burners -

Lincat's powerful infrared burners provide rapid heat-up and excellent response during busy service.

The infrared burner system delivers the high temperatures required for commercial chargrilling, while heavy-duty radiant caps protect the burners during operation.

Flame-failure protection is also incorporated for additional safety.

Heavy-Duty Reversible Cast-Iron Grids -

Heavy-duty cast-iron branding grids provide excellent heat retention and create the distinctive branding marks associated with chargrilled steaks, burgers, chicken, fish and vegetables.

The grids feature a reversible design for uninterrupted cooking and can be self-cleaned by operating the chargrill at maximum power, helping simplify cleaning after service.

Propane Gas Installation -

The OG8402/P is designed specifically for Propane (LPG) and provides a total gas heat input of 21kW.

Professional installation by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered commercial catering engineer is required.

The appliance does not require an electrical supply.

The available Propane supply, ventilation and extraction arrangements should always be checked for suitability before ordering.
