Lincat OG8403/P Opus 800 Propane Gas Chargrill – 1200mm, 29.4kW

The British-made Lincat OG8403/P Opus 800 Gas Chargrill is the largest Propane model in Lincat's heavy-duty Opus 800 chargrill range, providing serious cooking capacity for high-output restaurants, hotels, steakhouses, large pubs and other demanding professional kitchens.

Powered by Propane (LPG), the OG8403/P is particularly useful where mains Natural Gas isn't available or practical, while still providing the performance and capacity expected from a heavy-duty commercial chargrill.

Its huge 1100 x 620mm cooking area is divided across seven independently controlled heat zones, giving chefs excellent control over different areas of the cooking surface. Lincat quotes an impressive production capacity of up to 177 x 225g chilled steaks per hour.

Seven Independently Controlled Heat Zones -

The OG8403/P features seven independently controlled heat zones, providing excellent flexibility across its substantial cooking surface.

Different temperatures can be maintained across different areas of the chargrill, allowing chefs to cook a variety of foods simultaneously – from steaks and burgers through to chicken, fish and vegetables.

Individual zones can also be turned off during quieter periods, meaning the entire 1200mm cooking surface doesn't need to be heated when demand is lower.

Powerful Infrared Gas Burners -

Powerful infrared burners provide rapid heat-up and excellent response, delivering the intense heat required for professional chargrilling.

The infrared burner system is designed to heat faster than conventional burners, helping increase cooking output and providing the responsiveness required during busy service.

Heavy-duty radiant caps protect the burners during operation, while flame-failure protection provides an important additional safety feature.

Heavy-Duty Reversible Cast-Iron Grids -

Heavy-duty cast-iron branding grids provide excellent heat retention and create the distinctive lines and appearance associated with professionally chargrilled food.

The grids feature a reversible design for uninterrupted cooking and can be self-cleaned by operating the chargrill at maximum power, helping make cleaning easier at the end of service.

Propane Gas Installation -

The OG8403/P is designed specifically for Propane (LPG) and provides a substantial total heat input of 29.4kW.

Professional installation by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered commercial catering engineer is required.

The appliance does not require an electrical supply.

Due to its high gas input and cooking capacity, the available Propane supply, ventilation and extraction arrangements should always be checked for suitability before ordering.

For customers wanting to turn the countertop OG8403/P into a complete floor-standing chargrill, we also offer the compatible:
