The British-made Lincat OG8403/N Opus 800 Gas Chargrill is the largest model in Lincat's Opus 800 gas chargrill range, providing serious cooking capacity for high-output restaurants, hotels, steakhouses, large pubs and other demanding professional kitchens.

Powered by Natural Gas, the OG8403/N combines a huge 1100 x 620mm cooking area with seven independently controlled heat zones, powerful infrared burners and heavy-duty reversible cast-iron branding grids.

With Lincat quoting production of up to 177 x 225g chilled steaks per hour, this is a chargrill designed for kitchens where high-volume grilling is a major part of the menu.

Seven Independently Controlled Heat Zones -

The OG8403/N features seven independently controlled heat zones, providing excellent control across its substantial cooking surface.

Different temperatures can be maintained across different areas of the chargrill, allowing chefs to cook a variety of products simultaneously – from steaks and burgers through to chicken, fish and vegetables.

Individual zones can also be turned off during quieter periods, so the entire 1200mm chargrill doesn't need to be operated when demand is lower.

Powerful Infrared Gas Burners -

Lincat's powerful infrared burners provide rapid heat-up and excellent response, delivering the intense heat required for professional chargrilling.

The infrared burner system is designed to heat faster than conventional burners, helping increase cooking output while providing the responsiveness required during busy service.

Heavy-duty radiant caps protect the burners during operation, while flame-failure protection provides an important additional safety feature.

Heavy-Duty Reversible Cast-Iron Grids -

Heavy-duty cast-iron branding grids provide excellent heat retention and create the distinctive lines, appearance and flavour associated with professionally chargrilled food.

The grids feature a reversible design for uninterrupted cooking and can be self-cleaned by operating the chargrill at maximum power, helping simplify cleaning after service.

Natural Gas Installation -

The OG8403/N is designed specifically for Natural Gas and provides a substantial total heat input of 32.2kW.

Professional installation by a suitably qualified Gas Safe registered commercial catering engineer is required.

The appliance does not require an electrical supply.

Due to its high gas input and cooking capacity, the available gas supply, ventilation and extraction arrangements should always be checked for suitability before ordering.
