Lincat CT2 EcoSense Energy-Saving Conveyor Toaster – 13 Amp Plug-In

The Lincat CT2 EcoSense Conveyor Toaster is a highly energy-efficient commercial toaster designed to deliver high-volume, consistent toasting while significantly reducing electricity consumption and running costs.

A major advantage of the CT2 is Lincat’s innovative EcoSense technology. It delivers the same output as the Lincat CT1 conveyor toaster while using up to 50% less energy, making it an excellent choice for businesses looking to reduce energy consumption without compromising performance.

The CT2 uses Lincat’s clever “jog to sprint” system. On initial start-up it uses its full 3kW power to reach operating temperature quickly and can be ready for use in approximately four minutes. When idle, it drops into a low-power 1kW “jog” mode, keeping the toaster warm without unnecessarily consuming full power.

When bread is inserted, a loading sensor detects it and the toaster automatically increases power to its 2kW “sprint” mode for toasting. This on-demand approach means energy is concentrated where and when it is actually required rather than keeping the toaster operating continuously at full power.

Despite being just 365mm wide, the CT2 can accommodate two slices of bread side-by-side. Its compact footprint makes it particularly suitable for hotel breakfast buffets, cafés, canteens and other front or back-of-house applications where space and energy efficiency are important.

A smart controller automatically balances temperature, conveyor speed and energy input to help produce consistent results. Five selectable browning levels make operation simple, while dedicated Bread and Bun modes provide additional flexibility for different products.

High-efficiency Quartz I.R. elements provide rapid heat-up and focused heating, while high insulation and active cooling help improve efficiency and keep the external sides cool to the touch.

Importantly, despite its commercial performance, the CT2 requires NO specialist electrical installation. It operates from a standard 230V single-phase supply and is supplied with a standard UK 3-pin 13 amp plug – simply plug it into a suitable 13A socket.
