Lincat IH3 Specialist Single Zone Countertop Induction Hob – 2.4kW, 13A Plug-In

The Lincat IH3 is a powerful and highly responsive single-zone commercial induction hob from Lincat’s Specialist range. Compact, portable and requiring only a standard electrical supply, it provides an excellent way of adding induction cooking to a commercial kitchen without the need for a high-powered hardwired electrical connection.

With a standard cooking output of 2.4kW, the IH3 provides fast and controllable induction cooking, with a boost function available when additional power is required. Heat is generated directly within a suitable induction pan rather than through a conventional heating element, providing a responsive and energy-efficient method of cooking.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENT – the IH3 operates from a 230V single-phase supply and is supplied with a standard UK 3-pin plug. It requires a 13A electrical supply and does NOT require hardwiring or professional electrical installation, making it particularly easy to install or relocate within the kitchen.

The IH3 has one large induction cooking zone. It should be used with a flat-bottomed, induction-compatible pan with a minimum base diameter of approximately 180mm. This makes it particularly suitable for larger commercial saucepans, stockpots, sauté pans and frying pans, provided they have a suitable magnetic induction-compatible base.

Automatic pan detection cuts power when a suitable pan is removed, while simple mechanical controls make operation straightforward. Its low-profile countertop design also makes the IH3 useful where a powerful additional cooking zone is required without taking up the space of a conventional range.
