Lincat L4 Fume Filtration Unit – For Electric Appliances up to 14kW

The Lincat L4 is a large commercial fume filtration unit designed for use with suitable electric cooking appliances where conventional overhead extraction may not be available or practical.

Designed for use with suitable ELECTRIC cooking appliances generating up to a maximum of 14kW, the L4 draws cooking fumes through its filtration system, helping to reduce grease, odours and airborne contaminants before returning filtered air to the room.

IMPORTANT – the Lincat L4 is designed for use with suitable ELECTRIC APPLIANCES ONLY. It is NOT designed or approved for use with gas appliances.

With its 1304mm width, the L4 provides a larger filtration solution than the L3 and is suitable for compatible electric appliances with a maximum total power rating of 14kW.

IMPORTANT – the L4 is a fume filtration unit and is NOT designed for smoke extraction. It must not be treated as a conventional extraction canopy and is not suitable for appliances or cooking processes that generate significant quantities of smoke.

The filtration system incorporates grease, HEPA and activated carbon filtration, helping to remove grease particles, fine airborne contaminants and cooking odours before filtered air is recirculated back into the room.

The L4 filtration unit itself has a 0.45kW power requirement and operates from a 230V single-phase electrical supply. The cooking appliance positioned beneath the L4 requires its own separate and appropriately rated electrical supply – the L4 does NOT provide electrical power to the cooking equipment.
